Since 1963, in Cabiate, in the heart of Brianza, Minotti Collezioni has been crafting bespoke dreams in wood. Every creation is a unique garment, shaped around the emotions and life of the person who envisions it. It all began in a small workshop, where Alessandro Minotti turned a family passion into a true vocation: respect for materials, the elegance of wood, sartorial precision, and handed-down expertise.
Today, CNC machines cut to the millimetre, but it is the artisans’ hands that give each piece its final touch with skill and dedication. Ebony, rosewood, Canaletto walnut—woods selected one by one—are paired with gold and silver leaf, carefully chosen fabrics, unique marbles and exotic materials such as shagreen, acid-treated metals and natural straw.
This is how chairs, armchairs, tables and timeless furnishings are born. Each piece is unique because the hands that create it are unique. Here, quality allows no compromise. When the market demanded customization, the company embraced it without ever abandoning its artisanal roots.

MINOTTI EXPRESS: A HOME IN MOTION
Imagine a dream train, not just in your mind, but real: luggage on board, a pause on the most luxurious sofa, while the world glides past you like a film. This is Minotti Express, an extraordinary project that recreates a travelling home, eliminating the usual inconveniences of travel.
A train journey typically unfolds in stages.
DEPARTURE
In Switzerland, at the Stadler Rail factories, the empty carriages are born. Minotti Collezioni transforms them into comfortable living spaces.
FIRST STAGE: DESIGN
The same approach as designing a home, but within 5.8 m² instead of 12. Shared and private areas, luxurious bathrooms, a fully functional kitchen, even at 80 km/h. Every element is certified: nothing comes apart at 160 km/h, during deceleration or vibration, and it withstands temperatures from –35°C to +35°C.
SECOND STAGE: MATERIALS
To visualize the finished space, the client touches real materials: flooring, wall coverings, fabrics, finishes. Even natural marble on the panels, creating an environment that is warm, luxurious and yet familiar.
THIRD STAGE: ASSEMBLY
From Lake Constance (Switzerland) to Szolnok (Hungary) for the furnishing, then to Fanipal (Belarus) for the final touches. From a simple, sterile metal shell to a welcoming home: a place to share, work, reflect, or simply be alone with the endless landscape.
ARRIVAL… OR DEPARTURE
A private residence, bright, flowing, free of sharp edges. An enveloping living room, a curved bookcase that opens up the space, a family table, a comfortable sofa, an oversized shower. One journey (our journey) comes to an end, but the home is ready for the next: motionless as it waits, free to move.
VISTA OSTUNI: LUXURY AT THE FOOT OF THE WHITE CITY
In the heart of Puglia, the ancient convent of Ostuni, built in the 14th century and over time transformed into a hospital, a school and a tobacco manufactory, has been reborn as Vista Ostuni, a five-star hotel of the LarioHotels collection, thanks to the masterful restoration by the Milan-based studio RMA Roberto Murgia Architetto. All furnishings by MINOTTI Collezioni ensure style and uncompromising quality.
The project weaves together history, luxury and contemporary design. The 28 rooms (19 suites), overlooking the Plain of Olive Trees and the white hilltop town of Ostuni, offer a warm, enveloping atmosphere inspired by the hospitality of Puglia. Minotti Collezioni, an expression of Brianza craftsmanship, signs interiors that elevate woodwork and meticulous detailing to an art form.
Each space combines fine materials, clean lines and tailor-made finishes. The bar welcomes guests in an elegant atmosphere, while the spa, with its gradient mosaic whirlpool, perfectly embodies the fusion of well-being and design. Completing the experience are the infinity pool on the rooftop garden and the heated pool facing the sea.
Craftsmanship takes center stage: braided reed boiserie, Grottaglie ceramics, glazed terracotta, jute and local woods.
Fabrics recall the tones of earth, sea and southern light. Vista Ostuni is a tribute to memory, materiality and authentic luxury: Puglia, the Mediterranean, and the excellence of Made in Italy.
